Last season, Scotiabank generously donated funds to the Night Hoops Basketball Program so they could purchase new uniforms for the league.  This year, they have continued their support.  Greg Marshall, Scotiabank Senior Personal Banking Officer, hands a cheque to Night Hoops Program Manager Steve Anderson at a January 29 game between Champlain Community Centre and Ray-Cam Community Centre.  Prior to the photo, the youth spontaneously burst into applause to show appreciation for this donation.

Steve commented, "This kind of support is critical to Night Hoops being able to provide youth with the opportunity to play.  These kids don't always have an opportunity to wear a unform, be part of a team, or represent their community.  It is heartening to see the corporate community help make this happen and youth appreciating their support."

Greg replies, "On behalf of Scotiabank it is our pleasure to support the Night Hoops organization. The game was great and the commitment of all the coaches, volunteers, players and those family and friends that came to cheer was inspirational. We are glad to see how the Night Hoops program has grown over the years and we hope to see it continue to succeed. You are all doing a great job."
